Dimitris Karasoulos

Born in 1981 in Athens, I graduated from the 1st Gymnasium and Lyceum of Glyfada. I studied at the Dental School of the University of Athens, where I obtained my degree in 2005.
After completing my studies, I began working at my father’s practice, Nikolaos Karasoulos, while simultaneously training at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic of KAT Hospital. Subsequently, I completed my military service, the majority of which took place at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of the Naval Hospital of Athens.
I then continued my studies, earning a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Dental Implantology from the University of Manchester. Since 2010, I have been running my private clinic in Glyfada, focusing on a holistic approach and personalized care for each patient.
Professional Experience
Specialization in Dental Implantology: After graduation, I specialized in oral surgery through training at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic of KAT Hospital under the direction of Dr. Zachariadis for over two years.
Practical Experience: From the beginning of my studies, I worked as an assistant alongside my father, dentist Nikolaos D. Karasoulos. His philosophy inspired me to approach dentistry as a comprehensive specialty, respecting the needs and unique characteristics of each patient.
Military Service: During my service, I worked at the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic of the Naval Hospital of Athens, under the direction of oral and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Fakitsas.
Private Clinic: Since 2010, I have been managing the Glyfada Dental Loft clinic in Glyfada. The clinic provides specialized services through interdisciplinary therapeutic teams, following the most modern advancements in dentistry.
Academic Education
Doctor of Dental Surgery (2005): Dental School, National & Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Implantology (2010): University of Manchester, under the direction of internationally renowned researcher M. Esposito.
Thesis: Surgical elevation of the sinus membrane to increase bone volume in the upper jaw for implant placement.
Publications: My thesis was published in the Cochrane Collaboration, an independent international organization with a high impact factor, which evaluates studies with the highest scientific value in medical sciences. It was also published in the prestigious scientific journal European Journal of Oral Implantology.

Worked at the private dental clinic of Professor of Prosthodontics S. Davies, head of the Oral Rehabilitation and Craniofacial Disorders Clinic at the University of Manchester, adopting his motto: “Don’t be just a tooth dentist, you have to be a system dentist.”
Established my dental education on a holistic approach, treating dental issues as part of the stomatognathic system and the human body as a whole.

Born in 1994 in Athens, I grew up in Glyfada, where I completed my school education. I graduated from the Athens Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, one of the top 40 dental schools worldwide, in 2018 with honors (“Very Good”).
Since then, I have dedicated myself to general, preventive, and aesthetic dentistry, while regularly attending seminars and training programs. My goal is to provide modern and personalized treatments that ensure healthy and beautiful smiles for my patients.

Clinical Experience: Hands-on clinical experience and theoretical training in general dentistry through daily clinical practice at the Athens Dental School during undergraduate years.
